I have been victimized by Sarasota County due to working for Senator Greg Steube, who stated that he was going to make my life a living hell to a subcontractor of mine, which lead to me filing a complaint against Sarasota County Building Department. My complaint was against their corruption and extortion. Then they got their code officer Harvey Ayers (a former disgraced police officer ( www.harveyayers.com) to issue unfounded citations afet citation after citation. Guy McCauley (deputy building official) is the architect and the primary one I filed the complaint against. I was then targeted and retaliated against. I am a multi licensed state of Florida certified contractor and these corrupt government employees have destroyed my business. I continue to expose the injustices and corruption. Sarasota County employees and have been relentlessly pursuing and targeted me as what I believe is a political favor that started after a visit by Guy McCauley deputy building official at Senator Greg Steube's house in Sarasota, Florida. What follows is an experience that is so outrageous that it defies comprehension. However, perseverance and determination to fight the corruption coupled with protecting other licensed contractors and citizens from this abuse is what drives us to put an end to the corruption and ill dealings with Sarasota County code enforcement and their cohorts. They are Harvey Ayers, a disgraced former City of Punta Gorda police officer, whose history is so outrageous, you have to read it for yourself at www.harveyayers.com, the deputy building official Guy McCauley, is the architect of the corruption, possibly fueled by his visit to Senator Greg Steube, who commented to a subcontractor that he was going to make the contractor's life a living hell, he kept his word on that! Kathleen Croteau, who is the building official condones the behavior with Robert Lepley who is Harvey Ayers' immediate supervisor.
